I developed two similar courses with slight changes due to being culturally appropriate. One course is designed for BIPOC only, and another for non-BIPOC only. In the curriculum, I promote critical thinking questions that may be triggering for non-BIPOC or vice versa. The textbook is 50+ pages long and includes course learning outcomes, student learning outcomes, eight units from introduction to BASL to emerging artists, discussions, and assignments equivalent to 3 hours of credits for 8 weeks.
