Orature and Literature in the Black Deaf Community course curriculum is available for purchase. I developed two similar courses with slight changes due to being culturally appropriate. One course is designed for BIPOC only, and another for non-BIPOC only. In the curriculum, I promote critical thinking questions that may be triggering for non-BIPOC or vice versa. The textbook is 50+ pages long and includes course learning outcomes, student learning outcomes, eight units from introduction to BASL to emerging artists, discussions, and assignments equivalent to 3 hours of credits for eight weeks.


Instructors of any ethnicity are STRONGLY encouraged to take the course before they can use the course curriculum to teach at their school or college/university.


Coaching is also available for instructors. Earl is more than happy to offer support during their teaching.
